Heating & Air Conditioning
Heating & Air Conditioning
Commercial heating and air conditioning systems are essential for maintaining a comfortable environment for employees and customers. RBA provides professional service, repair, and installation for commercial HVAC systems—from diagnosing equipment that is no longer performing properly to repairing controls, replacing components, and installing new systems
Equipment We Service
- Rooftop packaged units
- Split-system air conditioning
- Commercial heating equipment
- Air handlers and ductwork connections
- Thermostats and control systems
- Condensing units and evaporator coils
What We Inspect
These are the areas we commonly evaluate during service. The exact cause of the problem can only be determined after an on-site inspection.
Not cooling or not heating
The system runs but the space does not reach temperature. We check the refrigerant circuit, airflow, the heat side, and whether the controls are calling for what you think they are.
Airflow and distribution
Some areas comfortable and others not, or weak airflow throughout. We look at filters, coils, fans, and the duct path rather than adjusting the thermostat and hoping.
Short cycling and running constantly
A unit that starts and stops repeatedly, or never shuts off, is telling you something specific. We identify which of the several possible causes applies to yours.
Controls and thermostats
Thermostats, sensors, and control systems that read or schedule incorrectly make a healthy system behave as though it is faulty. We verify what the controls are measuring and doing.
Noise, leaks, and drainage
Changed noise, water from a unit, or condensate not draining. We trace these to their source, including where the cause sits in the refrigeration side.
Installation and replacement
New commercial HVAC installation, system replacement, and control work, carried out under our C-20 HVAC classification.
Service & Installation
Service covers diagnosis and repair on equipment already installed — cooling and heating performance, airflow, refrigerant circuit, electrical faults, and controls. Installation covers new equipment, system replacement, and control work, carried out under the C-20 HVAC classification.
Work is performed under California Contractor License CSLB #985145, with classifications C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating & Air-Conditioning and C-38 Refrigeration.
If the fault turns out to sit elsewhere — in controls, or in connected HVAC equipment — RBA handles that too, rather than passing you to another contractor.
