Commercial Ice Machines
An ice machine that stops producing ice can disrupt operations in a bar, restaurant, kitchen, or retail store. RBA provides professional service, repair, and installation for commercial ice machines and ice storage bins. We diagnose and resolve issues related to ice production, water supply, drainage, cleaning, and system performance.
Equipment We Service
- Modular and self-contained cubers
- Under-counter ice machines
- Ice storage bins and dispensers
- Air-cooled and water-cooled condensing systems
- Water supply, filtration, and drain connections
What We Inspect
These are the areas we commonly evaluate during service. The exact cause of the problem can only be determined after an on-site inspection.
Little or no ice production
Output has dropped or stopped. We work through water supply, the sealed system, condenser condition, and the harvest cycle rather than replacing parts speculatively.
Ice quality and cube formation
Cloudy, soft, hollow, or undersized cubes. These usually point at water quality, water flow, or a cycle running short, so that is where we start.
Water and drainage
Leaks, overflowing bins, slow drains, and standing water. We trace the supply and drain path and correct what is causing water to sit where it should not.
Condenser and airflow
Air-cooled machines lose output quickly when the condenser is restricted or the space around them is too warm or too tight. We check both.
Cleaning and scale
Scale and biofilm affect production and ice quality, and they are a hygiene matter as well as a mechanical one. We assess the condition of the machine as part of any production complaint.
Installation and replacement
New machine and bin installation, replacement of an existing unit, and making the water, drain, and ventilation arrangements correct for the equipment.
Service & Installation
Service covers diagnosis and repair on machines already installed — production faults, water and drainage issues, controls, and condenser condition. Installation covers new machines, replacements, and the water and drain connections that go with them.
Work is performed under California Contractor License CSLB #985145, with classifications C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating & Air-Conditioning and C-38 Refrigeration.
If the fault turns out to sit elsewhere — in controls, or in connected HVAC equipment — RBA handles that too, rather than passing you to another contractor.
